   Free Arts NYC: Free Arts Day

  • Partnered with a child “buddy” from the Department of Homeless Services for the day.

  • Went on a guided tour of Rob Pruitt’s exhibit at the Brant Foundation in Greenwich.

  • Made art inspired by Rob’s work.

  • Arranged silverware sets for the homeless.

  • Delegated vegetarian meals for the homeless.

 

Community Outreach Advocate                                                  March 2015 - April 2015

   Alt. Spring Break: Youth Service Opportunities Project (YSOP)

  • Conducted maintenance clean-up project for the elderly within Washington DC's Ward 6 in conjunction with Seabury Resources for the Aging.

  • Prepared and served hot meals to the homeless in conjunction with Thrive DC.

  • Packaged pre-made meals for the elderly that were specific to dietary needs (soft, no seafood, vegetarian, diabetes, no dairy, and heart-healthy) in conjunction with Food & Friends.

   Free Arts: Kidsfest NYC

  • Support creative and event support stations. Handed out gift bags to attendees.

  • Directed attendees to each artist station (Saul Schisler, Jason Woodside, Michael De Feo, and Richard Haines).
